On your bibs, the 7th edition of the Balexert 20km of Geneva is making a comeback

After a 6th edition which recorded a record number of participants, the Balexert 20km of Geneva are making their big return to the Geneva calendar. The fall challenge will be held on November 3 , to the delight of runners in the region.

The Balexert 20km of Geneva embody the ideal autumn challenge for participants of all levels. It's an opportunity to surpass yourself , to have fun and to live a sporting experience , all in the warm and friendly atmosphere that characterizes this autumn running festival. With courses linking the shores of Lake Geneva, the Geneva countryside and the emblematic places of international Geneva, this race offers magnificent landscapes to its participants and spectators.

Thus, we are proud to announce that Balexert wishes to continue its commitments as Title Partner of the Geneva 20km until 2029! The largest shopping center in French-speaking Switzerland wishes to engage with the organizers in order to grow the event together and make running accessible to as many people as possible.
Together, we aspire to highlight the unique landscapes of Geneva's Right Bank and its surrounding countryside, while celebrating sportsmanship and conviviality among participants from Geneva and beyond. This reaffirmed partnership with Balexert consolidates the 20km of Geneva as an unmissable sporting event, anchored in the hearts of Genevans.

The youngest are in the spotlight in 2024
To our delight, the event is now also aimed at young athletes wishing to test their running performance. Indeed, the following junior races have been added to this day of sporting challenge:
The 2km Schoolboys/Schoolgirls A: 12 and 13 years old.
The 2km Schoolboys/Schoolgirls B: 10 and 11 years old.
The 2km Chicks/Chicks A: 8 and 9 years old.
The 1km Chicks/Chicks B: 6 and 7 years old.
The Parents/children A (1km): 4 and 5 years old.
Parents/children B (500m): 3 years old.
The mascots will show their best stride
The Mascot Run will celebrate its second year and promises a great show. Young and old will be able to attend this extraordinary clash where the mascots of different companies and regional associations will compete for victory. Last year, it was the mascot of the Balexert 20km of Geneva, Gégé, who won the event hands down.
All mascots are invited to defend their company or association on November 3, 2024 on the Right Bank of Geneva. Gégé is impatiently awaiting his next opponents!
